More Wisdom = More Grief

While in Africa I've committed to reading and meditating on the book of Ecclesiastes. It didn't take long before I came across something I did not fully understand. I'm hoping you can help. In Ecclesiastes 1:18 Solomon said, "The greater my wisdom, the greater my grief. To increase knowledge only increases sorrow."What do you think is the correlation between more wisdom = more grief? Have you ever experienced this "equation" in your life?
